(i) 2 (ii) 3

Total outcomes = 10
i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

(i) Favourable outcomes = 5 i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10

P(E) = 5/10 = 1/2

(ii) Favourable outcomes = 3 i.e. 3, 6, 9

P(E) = 3/10

(iii) Favourable outcomes = 1 i,e. 6

P(E) = 1/10

(iv) Favourable outcomes = 7

i.e. 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10

P(E) = 7/10
