Marked Price of a dinner set = ₹1000

And selling price (S.P.) = ₹900

∴  Amount of discount = Rs. 1000 – Rs. 900  = Rs100

∴  Discount percent = (Discount × 100)/M.P.

= (100 × 100)/100

= 10%
